SETESDALSBANEN

In 25.11 1896 was the 78km long railway between Kristiansand and Byglandsfjord opened. "Setesdalsbanen" exiting and colourful background and the beautiful nature along the route, has made the "Setesdalsbanen" to a touristattraction.
Setesdalsbanen is one of the biggest tourist attractions in the south of Norway. It is an old veteran railway with steamlocomotives and old railway carriages.

SESAMTOGET

The Sesam train is a popular attraction for children. The train is from the TV-series Sesame street, and it runs in a service between Kristiansand and Vennesla in the summertime.

"VIGELAND HOVEDGÅRD"

It is a touristattraction which was built in the 19th century. Tourists can come and visit this old house. You can rent this building and have weddings, confirmations or other big events. Vennesla is very proud of this building. Vigeland Hovedgård is situated along the river Otra.
