many offers in Vennesla are standing in line to fill the youth`s spare time. Many youth
take part in sport events like football, handball, gymnastics, cross-country, orientation
or athletics. To work active with sport is very popular in Vennesla. You can call Vennesla a religious town. The parishes lie by the road and invite to preaches and community. There is also a wide range of music, drama and dance there, where the youth place greatly. In the weekends the youth often travel into a bigger city called Kristiansand, which lies about twenty minutes from Vennesla. Cinemas, restaurants and discotheques pull the youth. But many also choose staying in Vennesla. Outside the video-centre, which lies in the centre of Vennesla, there is full of people at Friday- and Saturday-nights. Here you meet friends, but you can also get a snack or rent a movie. As you see the youth in Vennesla do not get bored! |
