Otra:
Otra is a river flowing through Vennesla. In the summertime you can take a bath in the river Otra. From May to September there are good fishing possibilities in this river. In the flood- lit track you can and skiing during winter and og for a walk in the summer. Alpine skiing is possible less then so can away. Read more about the river
Bathingplaces: I
It's good bathing possibility in Vennesla. Drivnes and Otra is some fine bathingplaces. Outside Kristiansand there is a long and nice beach, - the 1,2 long Hamresanden. Places where we can go swimming(VenneslaWeb)
Climate:
Vennesla has a typical south Norway climate. In the winter it is cold and usually some
snow like in the rest of the country. In spring it's starting to get warmer. The climate
in the summer is comfortable. In the autum it's getting cooler with temperatures of 8 to
10 degrees C.
