| In Norway we like hunting , and there is a lot of hunting right
here in vennesla. If you want to become a hunter you have to take a hunting teste (Jeger Prøve!). This test contains a theoretical part and a practical part , like shooting targets. If you pass this test , and if you are 16 you can go hunting for rabbits , roe-deer , and birds. When you become 18 you can hunt for larger animals like Moose , beaver , reindeer and deer. We use shotguns when we are 16 and rifles when we are 18. When we hunt moose , we have a hunting team , that consist of two parts. One part is the shooters and the other chases the moose with a dog or they make a lot of noise to scare the moose into position for a clean shot. We also have sneak hunting when we sneak upon the animal, and hopefully kill it. We really like to hunt here in Vennesla and we hope to keep on doing it for several years to come! |
