Within the year 96/97 the four municipalities in the RKR-region started separate receivingstations for the treatment of coolingfurnitures and also some stations for electronic-waste from the househomes.

The conditions at Støleheia are characterized by smelling-problems. Lately it is improving. Many gulls has also been a problem on this garbage heap. Foodgarbage is not supposed to be on Støleheia, but because garbage from cottages are not sorted, it will always be a basis for the gulls to be there.

But recently there was placed a huge net over the garbage heap. This in order to keep the gulls away.

The employees are also using masks and preassuretanks to hinder them from inhaling the dangerous gasses.
