Why do we compost?
| In the past years we have had increasingly
numbers of biological waste which have been thrown whit others wastes at the
fillingsplace. When the garbage is placed like that to rot, smell and climate gasses like
methane that affects the environment, is being developed. This is a process that is very
expensive and takes a lot of time. Foodwaste and sewermud are two examples on organic waste in the housekeeping. By remaining these materials from the fillings, the pollution is prevented in shape of these gasses: methane H2S, phosphorus, nitrogen and heavymetals. These gasses are dangerous and can lead to algaflorisning. There have been settled a prohibition against depositing of weetorganic waste in the municipal fillings. During the year 2000 all municipal fillings have to have a treatmentsystem for the waste. |
