Norgesplaster lies near Heptekjerr in Vennesla kommune, and it is the greatest supplier of plasters for pharmecy, grocery stores and hospitals in Norway, and the only remaining producer of Plaster in Scandinavia.There are 60 employees.

We have done an interview with director of production and engineering Magne Østerhus.He presented the information they had concerning noise problems.

The factory have regular noise measurings both inside and outside the factory. All factories are obligated to this according to the states health supervision.

Those employees who works at specially exposed places, ought to use ear-protection.

This is the results from the noisemeasurings measured inside the factory 15.March,1983 by the labour supervision 6.distric.

The echosound was relativly low everywhere. That means that the noise-level won’t sink much by increasing the absorption quantity. One must first of all moderate each separate noisesource.
