About 5% of the world's aluminiumproduction takes place in the northern countries. From the rawmaterial bauxitt produces aluminiumoxide which gets transformed into rawaluminium through electrolysis. The liquid metal gets supplied with alloyelements before it pours out in big cylinderblocks which is used for plates, The pressurebolt serves to ekstrude aluminiumsprofiles and ingot melts to different forms of products and components. The process demands 14 kilowatt hours of electricity.

Producing of superpure aluminium:
