Conclusion

If we compare the test-results we see that today’s generation have travelled twice as much as the elderly generation did when they were at the same age. The reasons why this is a fact was lack of money, big families and that this was very unusual. Our assumption was that the elderly travelled more frequently than the youngsters did. This turned out to be wrong. We came to the same conclusion about our hypothesis, which was that many could not afford to travel. A large percentage had been abroad and travelled often to foreign countries. Our other assumptions seemed to be correct.

The statistics shows us generation’s travel-patterns in a young age.

At the end we have to mention possible sources that might be incorrect:

  • Few questioned
  • Interpretation concerning the different questions
  • Foolish interviewed objects
