Conditions Between Mother And Daughter

Back to Main Page

md1eng.jpg (38961 bytes)The figure shows how active girls are today(daughter), and how active they were 20-30 years ago(mother). The figure also shows how many percent that is active in 1 organized sport, and how many who were active in 2, 3, or more.

Here we can see that a big percent is not active in an organized sport. We can also see that girls were more active before. The reason for this can have a connection with the big present interest for health-clubs.

md2.jpg (47433 bytes)The figure shows the most popular sports today (daughter) and 20-30 years ago (mother).

Prior to the project we thought people were more active today than before. Having studied the figure one can see that it is rather the interest for the different sports that has changed.

In this figure we can see a great divide between mother and daughter concerning the different sports. We can see that the interest for handball has changed quite a bit. This can be in coherence with the fact that you need to train more often than earlier. One can also see that no one used to train aerobics before, and that can be explained by the lack of offer 20-30 years ago.
