Conditions Between Father and Son
We can see that boys are more active in an organized sport now, than they were 20-30 years ago. The results might be explained by saying that a lot of people were active in sports earlier, but this was not organized.
Prior to the project we thought that the fathers were active in more sports than we are today. There is similarity, but the figure shows that boys are more active today than 20-30 years ago. In this figure the differences are between the number of men/ boys who play soccer. Here it is a clear difference between father and son. We think that one of the reasons for this development is that the sport demands more from you today than it did earlier. Earlier it was enough to train once a week, now you have to train up to several times a week.
