The teachers reactions to the alcohol consume among youths in Vennesla secondary school

Lisbeth Wigdal has been an employee at Vennesla secondary school. She thinks that youths start drinking to early. These days youths starts consuming alcohol at the age of thirteen to fourteen. She notices this especially at Monday morning. The pupil talks about how tuff and fun it is to drink alcohol, and it seems easy for the youths to get alcohol. Homemade liquor "moonshine" is popular. She says that those who buys or gets the youths alcohol should be punished more. She has noticed that a lot of students change when they comes to the secondary school, and some of them starts drinking…

Lene Flagestad is one of the youngest teachers at the school. She knows that there are a lot of youths that consumes alcohol in their spare time. Few things to do in their spare time, no self esteem are important reasons why the youths starts drinking so early. A lot of them are very easy to affect too. Nowadays some youths at the school smokes hashish. In the end of the year the school is arranging a project to get the pupils away from alcohol and drugs. She hopes this will help.

Bård Georg Karlsen has in four years paid attention to the students. He does not know how the situation was at the school before he started working there. He thinks that it is terrible that youths starts to drink alcohol when they are thirteen or fourteen years old. But the youths that drinks when they are sixteen or seventeen are more acceptable. He notices that "moonshine" is easy to get. He hopes that the project will help.
