Foreigners and their conditions
at Vennesla Senior High School

With respect to the high figure of foreigners at Vennesla municipality we started working on a project in order to see if foreigners managed to in according to the new conditions. We thought that it had to be fairly easy to adjust to the surroundings at our school.

We made questionnaires which both the foreign and the Norwegian students answered. We wanted to gain a better insight to how we treat people from other cultures, and also see how foreigners actually feel about the treatment. Some of the information was more unexpected than the other, but all in all we learned something new by working with the answers.

We also interviewed a teacher about how he felt about having foreign students in class, and what problems it might create.We have discovered a lot about the conditions at Vennesla Senior High School, when it comes to possible problems between different cultures. our wish it that others will learn something from our project.
