HEATING PUMP
Around us there is an almost unlimited amount of warmth. This heat is stored in water and air by a temperature which makes it impossible for us to use it directly. Heating pumps use electricity to raise the temperature from the environment, and make it useable for heating. In the way a refrigerator draws the heat out of the refrigerator, and lets it out in the room outside. One part electricity is used, two parts are taken from the enviroment, and out of the heating pump come three parts of useful heat.

3 types of heating pumps
1. water/water heating pump
They give higher energy savings than any of the other heating pump systems
This means a total savings of up to 50-60% of the total energy consumption in a house.
About 75-90% of the total energy demand of the house is covered by the heating pump.
2. Air/water heating pump
This Heating pump takes energy from the air outside.
About 75-80% of the total energy demand of a house is covered by heating pump. This means that you are of up to 40-60% of the total energy consumption in a house.
3. Air/air comfort heating pump

This is heating pumps which has outdoor air as heat source and is used in house heating
They consist of two parts. one inside part and one outside part.
The outside part wich is on the wall outside, takes the heat from the outdoor air, while the in-side part gives the heat away as warm air.
What are the disadvantages with a heatingpump?
There are probably no disadvantages when you use heatingpump. The total price will probably be about NOK 50-80.000; depending on the circumstances. Iit will take 6-15 years to pay it back.
