We have done research in Vennesla to find out what people really know about the new combustion plant, which is under planning at Hunsfos, and what they think about the situation.

The combustion plant, which is under planning, was ment to be a plurification plant, but has developed to be a garbage combustion plant. If the construction becomes a reality, some mean it will send dioxides to the people who live as neighbours to the factory. This will probably lead to many negative consequences and health damages, for example cancer. We also fear that people will move out of our lovely district beacuse of the health danger and the smell from the combustion plant.

The results of the research, show that people in Vennesla know very little about the project, which is under planning at Hunsfos. Only the nearest neighbours are engaged in the case.Most people we asked, believe that the project would be bad for the environment, and that Hunsfos should rather invest in newer, better and more environmental technology
