| Important events in Venneslas industrial history 1886: Hunsfos was established. 1907: Vigeland Brug was established 1907: The first strike occured at Hunsfos. 1911: The whole workshopbuilding at Hunsfos burned down. 1913: The first powerstation at Hunsfos. 1913: About 170 employees at Hunsfos. 1914-1915: A new cellulose fabric at Hunsfos. 1916: A new power station at Hunsfos. 1918: About 375 employees at Hunsfos. 1927: A large fire destroyed some buildings at Hunsfos. 1931: The longest strike at Hunsfos, -lasted 25½ weeks. 1933: A big flood, and all the lowlying buildings at Hunsfos were under water. 1934: Hunsfos dam was reinforced, and it was built a cylinder dam in the Helvedeswaterfall. 1939: A Pulp mill was ready modernized at Hunsfos =>1840: About 600 workers at Hunsfos. 1945: Vigeland Brug was rebuilt to refine aluminium. 1950: Norsk Wallboard was established. 1970: Vigeland Brug was developed and a new power station was built. 1970-79: Norsk Wallboard was updated with a new saw- and milling machine to produce more contemporary plates with groove and feather. 1976: A painting construction was installed. 1986: Vigeland Brugs capacity was extended to produce 6700 tons aluminium a year. 1988: Hunsfos bought stocks in Norsk Wallboard. 1996: Norsk Wallboard was registed after the 150-standard. |
